I really enjoyed doing this task as it allowed me further explore my concept of lighting and contrast but it moreover gave me the opportunity to visualize my project/work space in a real life setting thus highlighting a feel of atmosphere within and around the space. I chose to do this model in a 1:50 due to a lack of materials, however I also wanted to explore and test new scales to see what I prefer working with.

Model making and Further Lighting Experimentation

I found this model making task very useful in being able to communicate my idea about contrast of light and dark by using materials like balsa and baking paper as well as photographing my work in black and white to further enhance the contrast (This model is in 1:50 scale). This was also a good model to experiment with on Photoshop because, similar to the last model, I was able to see the model as a real life structure. I wanted to utilise quite natural materials for my rendering as this is what I feel i am most connected to.
